Never made fudge before? Here are your 5 most common questions answered:
Do I need a candy thermometer to make this fudge?
No! This fudge is easily made in a microwave without the need for constant temperature monitoring with a thermometer! Simply heat the brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and vanilla on high for a total of 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. The mixture will bubble at each interval and, when mixed, create a a smooth, perfectly fudgy consistency!
What kind of candy bar should I use for this recipe?
The beauty of making fudge is that it can be made with many different types of chocolate! For this recipe, I used chopped Mars bars for that caramel/chocolate/nugat bite! You can also use Caramilk, Milky Way, Snickers, Three Musketeers, or really whichever is your favourite candy bar! The results will be a delicious fudge every time!
How long does Fudge take to set?
Once your fudge is poured into your prepared baking dish, I recommend allowing the fudge to set overnight in a cool environment (i.e. fridge). The minimum amount of time to allow fudge to set is 4h.
How do I store Fudge?
Fudge is shelf stable at room temperature for up to 2 weeks however for best results, store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month or in the freezer for up to 3 months!

Yes!! Fudge is the perfect, quick and easy, treat to gift over the holidays! Simply make this Super Simple Candy Bar Fudge whenever desired and keep it in the fridge or freezer in an air-tight container until ready to use!
