Microwave Dot Cake

This easy Microwave Dot Cake is a single-serve version of the viral sprinkle-covered dessert, made with a soft vanilla cake base, frosting, and dot sprinkles.

1 tbsp Oil (Canola or other light vegetable oil) 3 tbsp Milk a splash of Vanilla Extract 1/4 cup All-purpose Flour 1/4 tsp Baking Powder a pinch of salt 1/2 tsp Nonpareil sprinkles (aka "dot" sprinkles) Toppings 1/4 cup Frosting your favourite! 1/8 cup Nonparel sprinkles "dot"
Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract to a ramekin (12 oz or larger).
Add sugar, flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix with a fork until combined.
Add sprinkles and gently stir into the batter.
Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from the microwave and allow to cool completely (note: this is to ensure the frosting doesn't melt!)
Dip in "dot" sprinkles and enjoy!
