Before You Bake: FAQ
Do I need to let the batter rest?
While not totally necessary, I recommend resting the batter for at least 5 minutes to create a consistently tender and light waffle. If you have even more time, 15-30 minutes may create for an even greater lift in your waffles.
How much batter goes into the waffle maker?
Use ¼ cup of batter, as written in the recipe.
How long do you cook the waffles?
Cook the waffles for ~5 minutes in the waffle maker. Resist the temptation to check on your waffles before 5 minutes as this will effect the creation of a crispy exterior.

How It All Comes Together
Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl (mixing until everything looks evenly combined).

Create a well in the centre of the dry mixture, giving yourself a small space to pour in the wet ingredients.

Add the milk, Greek yogurt, eggs, oil, and vanilla into the well.

Stir the wet ingredients slowly into the dry, mixing just until combined. Let the batter sit for ~ 5 minutes.

Turn on your waffle maker and let it heat up.
Scoop ¼ cup of batter into the waffle maker, then close the lid.

Cook for ~5 minutes, or until your waffle maker has done its golden little bit of magic.

Enjoy while warm (note: every waffle is unique in it’s own right! No need for perfection here :).
